I have been testing our MailChimp App with CapsuleCRM Contacts App and Salesforce Contacts App, and just wrote the instructions on how to use it with any CRM or Contacts Apps we have and will build in the future.
I’ve compared our MailChimp App against the data appearing in MailChimp as well as in CapsuleCRM. Before I outline some of the interesting findings, UnifiedVU Apps are never meant to provide the same level of detailed information as the systems we connect to provides, i.e. Our App will only show what matters to you. If you want maximum details, we always recommend you to log into the respective system.
When comparing the data presented in CapsuleCRM vs our App, you will find that the data automatically added to CapsuleCRM by MailChimp as a note is out of date. It actually shows that Howard has in fact not opened the campaign. As our Apps always show real time information, it shows not only has Howard opened the campaign, but has clicked a number of links, which is no doubt important when it comes to nurturing leads.
